Frequently asked questions
Does the app need an internet connection?
No. All guides, algorithm sets, pictures and the solver are bundled in the app. It works fully offline.
Which cubes are covered?
Every size from 2x2 to 9x9: beginner guides, algorithm sets with a picture per case, an animated player, a case trainer and a timer that scrambles every size.
How does the camera scan work?
Open the Solve tab and start a scan. The app asks for each of the six faces in turn; hold the cube steady so the grid covers the face. After all six faces you get a review screen, then a step-by-step solution. The pictures are processed on your device and never leave your phone.
The scan misread a colour — what can I do?
Use even, indirect light and avoid shadows and reflections on the stickers. On the review screen you can tap any sticker to fix its colour before solving. You can also enter the whole cube by hand instead of scanning.
Does my progress sync between iPhone and iPad?
No. Learning status, own algorithms and timer results are stored locally on each device. There is no sync in this version.
Are there subscriptions or in-app purchases?
No. No in-app purchases, no subscriptions, no ads, no tracking.
How do I reset my data?
Settings → Reset learning progress clears statuses, preferred and own algorithms. Settings → Delete all solves clears the saved cubes and timer results. Deleting the app removes everything.
What data does the app collect about me?
None. See the privacy policy for details.
