Cube Sheet — Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 October 2026
Cube Sheet is an offline iOS / iPadOS app with guides, algorithm sets, an animated player, a case trainer and a solve timer for 2x2 to 9x9 cubes. It is designed to work without an account, without tracking, and without sending your data to any server.
Data we collect
None. Cube Sheet does not collect, transmit, or share any personal data.
- No account is required.
- No analytics SDKs, ad networks, or third-party trackers are embedded.
- No usage data, device identifiers, or crash reports are sent to us.
- The app makes no network requests in normal operation.
Camera
Cube Sheet can read the colours of a real cube through the camera. The camera frames are processed live on your device to recognise the sticker colours. Photos are never stored and never leave your phone. Every scan can also be entered or corrected by hand, so the app works fully without camera access.
Data stored on your device
All app data — learning status per case, preferred and your own
algorithms, timer results, and saved cubes (sticker colours only, no
photos) — is stored locally on your device using Apple's standard
storage APIs (UserDefaults and local files). It never
leaves the device.
You can erase your data at any time from Settings → Reset learning progress or Settings → Delete all solves inside the app, or by deleting the app.
iCloud sync
Cube Sheet does not use iCloud or any cloud sync. Your data stays on the device it was created on.
Notifications
Cube Sheet does not use notifications.
In-app purchases and ads
There are no in-app purchases, subscriptions, or advertisements in Cube Sheet.
Children's privacy
Because Cube Sheet collects no personal data of any kind, it is safe for users of all ages. The app does not knowingly collect information from children under 13.
